    Hold fast.

    Believe in yourself.

When the time comes, make a decision and don't look back.

Until then, relax and enjoy yourself. Heck Minot has to be the party capital of somewhere, whereever it is in the north tundra.

Hey what did you do with those AK kits?

Sure you can leave it open, or at least it appears open.
I used to recruit for the NRA until they sold us down the river (again!) in Heller v. DC. See my auctions (if any) under username henryreilly

Sold two of them to get my MkII, the third one I still have. Haven't done anything with it yet, still kind of waiting on a receiver from NoDak Spud.

I can tell you this: Divorce is survivable, and you will come through it stronger and better than before. The transition is painful, but it doesn't last forever.

I know. I have been through it three times. In no case was it my choice.

If you have no children and no major jointly owned property, it can be very easy, fast and cheap.

And, if you EVER entertain the notion of marrying again, get a good pre-nup. A pre-nup is not a bad thing, nor does it mean that the marriage will fail. All a pre-nup is, is an agreement between you stating what will happen with separate property, joint property, children, and so on, in the event of a dissolution of the marriage.

Dawnie and I have a pre-nup. I mainly wanted to protect my retirement account and my house, since they are my principal assets. If she decides to leave, she will be decidedly better off financially than she was at the beginning of the marriage, but she won't be able to touch the house or my retirement account, and I won't be able to touch her retirement account.

    catpealer,

I'm trying not to sound hackneyed in my advice, so you can tell me to shut the hell up anytime you want. But even though it seems like nothing is going right, just remember that one of these days you will look back on this. Whether you look upon it with great pain or indifference or even amusement, as odd as that sounds, depends on how far you choose to move on.

Life is a series of ups and downs - it goes without saying. Just stay cool and it'll pass.

Divorce does suck, I've been there, and as nunn has said, it is something you will get over. Try to be fair with her,but take not crap. Try and make better choices in the future.

You know what's cool? Later on, down the road, when you are riding in your new vehicle of choice, wearing new clothes, with a younger, better-looking honey on your arm, and you run into your ex, and you just sort of nod at her, as though she is someone you used to know, along time ago, but you can't quite identify her.

    BTDT, and it's GREAT.

Yeah... they didn't have game enough to get American chicks when they were younger Airmen!! [:0]

Seriously though...the NCO club would fill up with "slant eyed girls" every time a rotator took off for the desert. The Korean, Phillipino wives were crawling out of the woodwork trying to get some. Moral is: All women suck...just have to find one that can deal with your BS and you can tolerate her's!!
