has anyone been to the C.F. Phelps WMA shooting range just outside of remington va? it is only open sept.1-mar.31. any feed back is welcomed, thanks http://www.dgif.virginia.gov/wmas/detail.asp?pid=17

    Haven't heard of that one. Is it in Northern Va.? There is one about 10 mi. west of Va. Tech on the Jefferson National Forest. It's very basic. Wooden benches with covers, about 100 yd. max range. Very muddy when wet.

    a shooting range that's only open during hunting season???? seems you'd want the opposite.
