    Unbelievable! Sickening.
When I graduated from high school in 1968, every one of my classmates could have answered those questions without a second thought.

These dummies are parading around as college students and they are so dumb. Pathetic.

#1 It is in Texas at Texas Tech ( They BARELY squeak inside the Top 100 Engineering Schools at #92 for Graduate and #87 for undergrad).
#2 None of the mouth breathers on camera were engineering students, they were sports management, psychology and human sciences (aka would you like fries with that) and a pre-nursing girl working on an Mrs. Degree. At my kids school (and Auburn where my niece goes) they accept 3000 into the pre nursing program every year. Only 300 are accepted into the Nursing program when they are juniors. Cutoff this year was a 3.8 gpa. The other 2700 then find a new major.

One of my Daughters is an Architecture major. That is a little more artsy and creative than the hard core engineering I did, so I am not surprised to see most of her classmates lean to the left. (Which disgusts her to no end... [:D])

Occasionally a bright one slips in

The students at a local college were assigned to read two books, "Titanic" and "My Life" by Bill Clinton, and to write book reports.

    One student turned in the following book report;

with the proposition that they were nearly identical stories!

His cool professor gave him an A+ for this report.

    Titanic: Cost = $29.99

    Clinton : Cost = $29.99

Titanic: Over 3 hours to read

Clinton : Over 3 hours to read

Titanic: The story of Jack and Rose, their forbidden love, and subsequent catastrophe.

Clinton : The story of Bill and Monica, their forbidden love, and subsequent catastrophe

Titanic: Jack is a starving artist.

Clinton : Bill is a cow cookies artist.

Titanic: In one scene, Jack enjoys a good cigar.

    Clinton : Ditto for Bill

Titanic: During the ordeal, Roses dress gets ruined.

    Clinton : Ditto for Monica's.

Titanic: Jack teaches Rose to spit.

Clinton : Let's not go there.

Titanic: Rose gets to keep her jewelry.

Clinton : Monica is forced to return her gifts.

Titanic: Rose remembers Jack for the rest of her life.

Clinton : Clinton doesn't remember anything.

Titanic: Rose goes down on a vessel full of seamen.

Clinton : Monica.. Ooh, lets not go there, either.

Titanic: Jack surrenders to an icy death.

Clinton : Bill goes home to Hillary; basically the same thing.

She asked "who did we win our independence from?" I can see her getting a different answer then she expected from a Texian. [8D]

Any real Texan would reply Mexico without blinking an eye and they would be correct.

I don't think I ever seen anyone like that on the Auburn Campus....my niece has a degree in electrical engineering from Auburn...29 years old and has a big time management job with The Southern Company..You could ask her a question about The Nile Civilization, and answer would be correct...very bright and very pretty , she was maid in the Azalea Trail.

I'm sorry, how did you draw a line to Engineers?

Also, they showed a lot of people answering the social questions correctly, but did not show their answer to the political questions.

    Confused as to your agenda.
Half of the lives they tell about me aren't true.

    Bingo! We have a winner!

When dealing with a person that is educationally challenged, my first question to them is, "Are you a product of public education?"

Not a single person they asked was an engineer. It's like saying a custodian at a hospital can speak for the lead surgeon.

The main reason Georgia Tech has the School of Industrial Management is so the football players and women had a program that they could pass....

    It's not an engineering school.

When somebody asks me a question that I either don't know or don't want to answer, I shrug my shoulders and tell them that I'm a victim of public education.

When you have a chance look at your Diploma to see if it has a disclaimer printed on it.
