    Remington700AICS2resize.jpg

5-shot group in light wind, -6 deg celcius.
Arctic conditions (sun has set about 1? months ago, target was lit by the car headlights and spotlight).

That gave me a group of 18mm (0.708") from outer edge of the bulletholes - at 140 metres distance.

But after serious consideration, I think I'm going with the one Gun I don't actually own...
The 22 LR Cricket that now belongs to Tyler Underwood...

    CONGRATULATIONS Tyler and Merry CHRISTmas!

I bought one just like this, almost a year ago. Except I put Trijicon night sites on it, and use it for a carry. I'd have to say it's also my favorite for 2010.

I just completed a tour back in Iraq as a "Combat Advisor" to a newly formed Iraqi Counter-terror Unit. I served in an AAB within the 3rd Infantry Division, as a tasker from the US Army Special Operations Command (USASOC).

Been in the Army over 22 years and this is the first time I've ever been around "heavy" folks.... man, them's some different ducks. [;)]

Shot 19rds of Cavim through it while I was home over Thanksgiving. No recoil at all. Shot from my back porch to the back hill - 25 yds. Rounds were all on paper but low.

It was more for a function check than a sight in.

Need to figure out the battle sight zero and sight adjustment for various ranges when I get some more time with it.

Rear peep sight feels like you could drive truck through it. Mags were kinda tight locking in and out.

Think the magwell on these new stocks SA equips them with are tight. Might take a pc of sandpaper & smooth out the magwell.

My firearms inventory went down in 2010.
My only tranaction was tradeing two junkers, and
    a 17 HMR marlin for this 444Marlin. I had'nt
thought about one of these in years untill
saw this one, and it woke up an old flame
I've had for a 444 since my cousin got one
back in the late 60s, or early 70s.

best gun? James River Armory M14NM with the forged receiver, Criterion barrel, TRW USGI parts, and a USGI stock. Hven't had time to really shoot it, but when I did I could see the potential is there.

    001-1.jpg

    002-2.jpg

this one wins the "most fun to shoot" CAI Sterling 9mm Carbine.
Accurate, with a surprisingly good trigger
