Im looking for a new conceal carry pistol.Im looking at the Sig p2022b with contrast sights or the CZ-75. Both in 9mm. The Sig is well... a sig! A very nice gun with a great reputation. The CZ i'm not too familiar with, but feels good in the hand although a bit heavy and from what i hear a very good gun. What are ya'll thoughts????

CZ-75 feels much better in the hand and has a well deserved reputation.

    BTW - Welcome.
It's being willing. I found out early that most men, regardless of cause or need, aren't willing. They blink an eye or draw a breath before they pull the trigger. I won't. ~ J.B. Books

I have an EAA Witness (CZ clone) and it fits my hand real well. I like it a lot.

Loved, loved, loved my SigPro in 9mm.

Tack driver. At least mine was.

CZ is a great piece. I'll probably own one at some point in time, but I'll always miss my SigPro. Polymer SIG is a whole lot lighter to carry. Either is easy to shoot.

BTW. Matt Damon checks a SIG Pro out of his lock box in the Bourne Identity. Kinda cool.

    I've shot both.

CZ-75 has a better double action trigger pull and can go cocked-and-locked *OR* hammer down (though you have to decock by pulling the trigger on a live round while easing down the hammer. . .CAREFULLY!)

Of the two, I definitely prefer the CZ-75 in terms of feel and pointability.

The only reason this isn't a complete no-brainer for me would be that the CZ-75 is all steel and quite heavy for daily concealed carry.

So *JUST* because of the weight issue, I'd probably go with the SIG.

    Which is Damon's favourite gun?

"The one that I end up with is that handgun, which is a Sig handgun. The Beretta is actually probably the one I'm most accurate with. But I'm not a gun person myself. I actually hate guns. They freak me out."

Jeff Cooper considered the CZ-75 to be the finest double action combat handgun is the world, that is why the Bren 10 was a copy of the CZ-75.

In saying that, I love Sig's
