She has asthma real bad and a slight, very slight case of pneumonia. The doctor told her to keep taking the cough medicine he gave her, as it is working. He cough is subsiding and the fever broke. She now has a new inhaler and started it today. Thanks for all the thoughts and well wishes. Oakie.
Just smile and say nothing, let them guess how much you know.

She felt good enough to go to Sunday School.
I called the Dr Friday to see if she could get all testing done in one day and was told we have to make 2 trips to OKC this week and one next week. It has something to do with the dyes they use. The lady I spoke with was very nice and did not know it is a 3 hour drive for us. Just the 18 hours of drive time will wear her out big time, I am hoping she can sleep part of the time.
Well I am off to find something to feed my girls when they get back from church.
Will update when I know something.
David.
Wife was asked to participate in a clinical trial of some new med that is supposed to work like Plavix but faster. She said sure once they pointed out the meds would be paid for several months. That will give us time to find a way to pay for the meds she will be on for the next 2 years.
Was a long and tiring day for her and then they suprised us by telling her she had to stay over night, they could have told us that any of the 4 times they called and asked the same questions with the same answers for the 4 different depts. But nope they tell us after they are done.
Well anyway she is now home sleeping.
Should get to bring her home tomorrow.
WIll be thinking of you guys...and sending good thoughts your way..

Keep a close eye on her with the experimental drug.
It is just that, experimental, and may not suit all patients.
If it's problematic, they'll put her on something already proven.
I say this, because my granddad's cousin was put on an "experimental"
cancer treatment by doctor. Yet the doctor did few follow-ups in
the year he was on it. It actually hurt Uncle Wilmot, weakening
him and allowing the cancer to spread. He was so weak, that the
subsequent, traditional chemo killed him.
Don't mean to be all gloom and doom. It'll probably help her just
fine. But from someone who worked in pharma development, do keep
an eye on her symptoms yourself and tell the doctor if anything
seems wrong.
Best wishes,
Doc
Thanks for the update and keep us posted.
If you can't feel the music; it's only pink noise!
