EMM is annoying, unhygienic, looks like his parents were related to one another, and otherwise ill informed about political matters, but he does have a variety of interests and hobbies that he would post on non-politically related some were even readable, with a minority being interesting.

In fact he has never insulted me in any fashion, which is something that several members of this board (including one who is out on "vacation") cannot claim.

It is not so much the agendas that are irritating, it is the way that they are presented. Generally what we get is a thread title and then a cut and paste of a link to some selected website and little more than a few words say "These people really know what they are talking about".
I really don't like that.
I don't have to agree with someone's point of view to read a few paragraphs of their own opinions on an issue. If someone sits down and actually writes out their thoughts about something then I'll give it a read, but if it is just lifted word for word from some other source or web site I consider it a borderline waste time. I can remember numerous times I have asked someone a question about some inconsistency and they will come back with "Hey, it is what they said on the website, I don't know the answer".

For the record, I have never done any of those things either, and you can be sure that if I haven't called you a communist or a liberal you are not one, as my "commielibdar" is always operating at peak efficiency and can spot one several counties away with ease.
I was also going to say Hairy but many beat me to it. I usually tend to agree with him but he does have a major problem with allowing people to get to him & replying in a manner that repeatedly gets him censured. He tends to be his own worst enemy. Even when I am agreeing with him I often cringe at his excesses.

You must not have had a discussion with him. He had no problem throwing genuine insults when you didn't agree with him. Usually that you were just stupid if you were right and he was wrong, which was 99% of the time.
