Carrying a pistol to pass out candy.

How many people have a concealed pistol on them when they answer the door to pass out candy? My wife thinks it's dumb but I always have one on when I answer the door, regardless of the holiday.

    Clinton is a very safe place, there aren't many blacks here, but it's a lifestyle choice. I carry everytime I go to the door unless I know who is on the other side.

    Got one under my shirt in a paddle holster AS WE SPEAK, but not ususally (just been some baaaaaad circumstances pop up in our lives with some real bad guys that are kind of known for blowing things up, and playing with meth and doing a little not so friendly strong arma and extortion...). Little does anyone know, but yes, this friendly, smiling candy giver is packing...!

    Blacks commit far more crime then whites. Excuse me for recognizing this undisputable fact. If you have a neighborhood that is majority black you get a ghetto full of crime, violence, drugs, and general lawlessness. If a neighborhood is all white you get a nice suburb. I'll take the suburb any day of the week.

    Rock, +1. They may believe it is 'paranoid', but ask them after they become the victim of a home invasion. I am quite certain their answer, as well as their actions, will be 180 from what they were previously.

    Except that mine was a .22LR that was exactly what I had in my pocket tonight. Then after I quit & turned off the lights I went out to get a hamburger.
    When I reached in my pocket to get the keys I realized I still had the pistol in my pocket. (Not a good idea if you live in Kalifornia & don't have a concealed carry permit.) It's a good thing I didn't get to the burger joint & pull it out with my pocket change.

    I always wear something like this regardless of what day it is.
