It's a spooky feeling to look down a barrel from the muzzle end...
Even when I've disassembled a gun... Still gives me the Weeby Jeebies...

I'll look down the breach end even when it's just a barrel... Easier on the mind. [;)]

Yes. Not an experience I care to repeat. Invited upstairs at a co-workers home, rounded the landing and found myself staring down the barrel of a Ruger .357 with a 6" barrel.

Left that job right after that.

That begs the question. How do you check revolver barrels after cleaning to make sure you did a good job?

    Uhhhhh, yes I have.

Been shot at with everything from a crossbow to a surface-to-air missile. Have seen the eye over the sights of a firing AK. No way to know, but possibly totaled a half million rounds fired at me.
    I may be a bit crazy - but I didn't drive myself.

I have found myself doing the same thing. When inspecting a 1911 barrel, for example, I will always look through the chamber end first. No 'weeby jeebies' anymore, but force of habit is strong.
Freedom and a submissive populace cannot co-exist.

Being single , I to have had that feeling on more than a few occasions, the worst was when I was seeing a bi-sexual and her girl friend pulled one on me... For some reason I took her more seriously than I took the x-boy friends and x-husbands.... All that kept going through my mind was the ol saying.... Hell hath no fury.....
