Just ran across this, thought "hmm thats going cheap", read the description that says "This firearm is being listed as used and has some wear, including multiple holes in the barrel." What in the actual heck did someone do to this poor mdl. 37? Check out pics 6&9.

Should have only two holes. One in the front and one in the back.

Yeah, it looks pretty redneck with all those mysterious holes but the custom forend attachment makes up for it.
Seriously, I think it is a $75 gun, and that includes shipping and FFL fees.

My guess is someone was trying to tighten the pattern, by decreasing pressure, for turkey shoots.

Didn't know about the benefits of decreasing pressure, thought it was one persons way to bring the shot pattern to the right w/o adjustable sights.

I guess it would be a good deal if you had a friend with a worls class skill of drilling holes smaller. But that?s hard to come by, I figure only about one guy in 20,000![^]

I checked the spacing of those holes.
Weaver mounts #51 and #52 fit perfectly.
It was going to be the first ever scout style scoped shotgun!!

Yup, looked suspiciously like scope mounting holes, or at least an attempt at such.

There are some holes on top that were probably for scope based but there are like 20 other holes all around it as well.

My bet is a turkey shooter , Worls Class of course
Although always described as a cowboy, Roswellnative generally acts as a righter of wrongs or bodyguard of some sort, where he excels thanks to his resourcefulness and incredible gun prowesses.
