"Political reasons"

I hate hate HATE it when somebody refers to something that a politician does as being done for "political reasons."

EVERYTHING a politician does is for political reasons. When they take a dump and how they wipe their * is done for political reasons.

Every war we've ever gotten into ("we" being humanity) has been for political reasons. Some good and some bad, but let's not pretend that politics doesn't drive political actors' actions.

Regarding the recent kerfuffle over Susan Rice's unmasking of Trump related sources and targets, what is really meant by "political reasons" is that something was done for PARTISAN reasons, for the narrow benefit of a particular politician or political party, rather than for the broader political policy goals, domestic or foreign.

How are you doing tonight?

[:D][:D]If you watch anything with the term "news"
attached, you might as well get used to it.

If I find anything upsetting, it is the fact that the person you mentioned had to bring up "Race" as a component for her having to testify in the first place.
