    In a minute!!!

I kind of got lost in about the 5th or 6th paragraph, I wonder what in the heck was he selling in the first place?

I love a Smith K frame, but not well enough to put some ivory grips on it.

They aren't ivory,.....they are ivory "corian" grips.
    Sheesh, what a gasbag![xx(]

I have never seen a listing like that before.

Do you suppose GB Auctions charges him by the word or by the foot ??

It is a very esthetically pleasing pistol.

    But....grips made from a counter top ??

I think it's funny when you see the exact opposite. A very expensive firearm, one or two mediocre pictures, and a four word description, such as....

    "Original Henry rifle, nice. $40,000."

But,......they are the only ones in the world Doug.
    Plus they have papers!

Wonder if DuPont signed off on them?
    If so,.....BIN!

I hope he never puts a ad in the clasified section
of the newspaper. They charge by the word. The ad
would cost more that the gun is worth.

I hope that he had a big memory card in his digital camera because a 1gb probably couldn't do the whole job!

I didn't realize that they were not real ivory!

Yea, I liked the idea of getting a letter from him.

I think I am going to start selling with letters from me.

It might be a good deal, but I heard once from my dad, it ain't worth that until you got someone that will pay that for it.

WTH!!!! Ok....did anyone catch the part where in one of the many many many "information added" sections where he says you can buy the gun for $540!!!! Isn't this a "buy it now" sale for $850???

What on earth are they thinking with the estimated worth of these added grips? "Off the gun these grips are worth $400...On the gun these grips are worth $1000.00" Ummmm.....no.

I just started laughing at one point. Information added.... History of me.... History of the guy that made the grips... History of photos... OMG could this GET crazier. (I thought not until I actually got to LOOK AT THE PICTURES!)

When you think you couldn't be more confused he has pics of another gun in there....more belt buckles....a VERY cool western rig and bike....then it gets WIERD because there are medals and a wooded trail...then Mountains. Ok...

I am impressed. I thought I went a little overboard sometimes. You guys can't complain about my listings ever again.

    Completely missed the $540 part.

I've got some countertops I could chop up into grips, so I guess I could just buy the revolver.

    Oh, wait...it isn't worth $540...

I simply do NOT believe anyone actually paid $850 for it.

Gotta be a shill to make the ridicule go away.

    Never happened.

It's a .38. NOT a .357. better fix lunch and ride up to Greenville,SC where those high dollar fake grips are made. Guy must have drank a case of pepsi before posting that hidious ad. It would have taken me a week to download all those pics.

I just don't see why he is valuing the grips so high. They are FAKE! You can get REAL IVORY grips custom made for almost the same price that he is putting on his fake ones. My wife's ivory cost around $500 before the scrimshaw work.

actually Doug, the corian makes a pretty good grip set

    Note to self:

When listing items insert unassociated pictures, type more info that any rational human would read, end all sentences with exclamation marks then double the retail value of the Buy It Now! It works!

Dang... that was a lot of pictures for one auction.

Would have taken a whole night to upload.

For all of the "perfect fit" talk, it looks to me like a pretty big gap at the bottom of the backstrap, and something doesn't look quite right where the frame narrows down into the trigger guard.
I like the "letter of authenticity" though - lets you know that you are buying REAL fake ivory, rather than that FAKE fake ivory junk from China.[;)]
