I'm applying for my WI CCW License. Finally have enough money to do it.

Update: My application, proof of training, and money order are in the mail. Now I just have to wait.

I see my fund raising finally paid off.[:D]
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

After this, you can save for a Christmas tree. Should have enough by 14 Feb.

I find it preposterous that you have to pay a tax before you can exercise your 2nd Amendment right.

You likely won't find much in the way of argument here.

Everybody gets to make the choice for themselves. Is rather pay the tax than go to jail and never get to own a gun again.

If you decide to carry without a license(if required) and you ever need to use it, you're screwed. You're going to jail. If your lawyer is good and you get real lucky, you might skate on the charges(unlikely), but its going to cost you a fortune.

I'd love to see constitutional carry, but until we do, ill pay the tax regardless of how much I disagree with it.

I'm taking my class this Saturday in Eau Claire and then immediately apply for the permit. Shouldn't need one, I agree, but I'm playing by the rules. It took a long time to get this legislation passed and I'm not going to blow it for myself or others.

    Not a permit, it's a license.
