Grumpy, it was 81? at sunrise the other day. A pleasant 74? dawn today, topping out at 92? at 4:30 pm. Humidity 14%. But very smoky from that huge California fire. Air smells like MJ, LOL!
    I may be a bit crazy - but I didn't drive myself.

    You?re in Sisters?

Spent the summer after my freshman year in high school on a cattle ranch just north of Brothers as the hired man.

How was the Humidity there. Lucky its low here. In the mornings not so much when its the coolest Humidity takes away from the pleasure of the cool air.

It was hot that summer in the 70s, but not unbearable. Spent half the summer on horseback, and IIRC (been awhile) there was usually a breeze on the high desert.

Just left the mtns. in N. Pa yesterday, 49* at night, 68* daytime. Excellent sleeping weather. Back down here in the "People's Republic" overnight, heat and humidity abound. Ugh.

    I love heat without humidity.
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain
