just made a deal for 500 rounds 9mm NATO ammo, by winchester.
this is supposed to be a hotter load than the standard 124gr rounds.
seller says it's like +p but not marked as such.
I really don't need another 500 rounds of 9mm, but I figured it would be good for my Colt Sporter.[:)] probably sell some as i just don't have room for that much![:(]
anybody know about this ammo?
thanks!
tom

[:0] you can never..ever have too much ammo tom...built a shed to hold it all, or build a spare room on your house,do what you have to so you can keep it,you never know when you`ll need it.

Typical USA loaded 9mm tends to be very mild and this can cause may European automatics to act sluggish and often won't even function in SMGs, but some good hot STANAG spec loads brings the guns right back to life! NATO spec 9mm (typically Fiocchi) is all that I'll fire in my Colt.

    marc,
I have the same one. It has a 3 digit serial # and factory delete sear block.

ross and keith, I know i should keep it, but I just don't have room!
I just (today) bought 200 rounds of .30 ball for the garand and I don't know where I'm gonna put that either!
the mrs didn't appreciate the 1000 rounds of 5.56 i put in the pantry!
and there's still a pile of ammo in the corner of the den.[:I]
I've got 3 pistols and 3 rifles in the closet cause both safes are full!
    It sucks being me![;)]

    500 rounds ain't much.
9mm isn't my go to ammo in case of SHTF but I still have more then 500 rounds on hand.

I have more guns in 9mm than any other caliber and I shoot at least 1x a week. so I keep alot on hand. just over 5000 rounds last i checked.

    Max pressures:

    SAAMI 9mm - 35,000
    9mm+P - 38,500

    NATO 9mm - 41,400

I'd say you probably have no problem as long as you're using it in a modern manufacture firearm whose springs aren't tired.

I picked up a case of 1000 NATO 9mm a few months ago. It is good ammo, accurate and feeds in all my guns, but I wouldn't call it real "hot". I think I paid $160 for it so it was a good price for some good practice ammo. I shot some in my P7 last week...Ummmmmm Good. [:D]
