Damn pine pollen

Sneezing my head off and nose a dripping. Need some more rain or fog to knock that crap out of the air.

    Yes, the pine pollen under a microscope is thorny so its extra irritating.

    Embrace the wonder that is Nature!
    Have you ever sat & watched the pollen silhouette leave a juniper?
    It happens all at once, all over the mountain.
    First, one tree catches the right breeze, then another, and another; each tree "pops", and a cloud of pollen the shape & size of the tree just floats away.
    So cool!
    Of course, I'm not allergic to it[:)]

    I saw it with the cedars on my place. I thought they were on fire, there was so much pollen!

    We're a few months away from that here. But it is an amazing sight - those tree-sized golden yellow clouds puffing out like a silent explosion. Unless you're downwind and allergic, of course.
    I may be a bit crazy - but I didn't drive myself.
