After checking some auctions on 380 ammo. This may not be that far off. Its crazy. I was looking at a couple boxes today at an old country store. Started to buy it. But I sold my .380 years ago.

did you also offer the store more than they were asking for it?

not only is this auction very overpriced,imo, the buy it now was 70.00 and he bid over that. but buyer is a nr bidder so he probaly didnt know what that was for.

I thought people were buying 380's because the ammo was cheap and redily available...that isn't cheap 1.52 a shell I can shoot my 10mm for 1/3 of that...so whats the deal?
A guy was telling me colt mustangs and even the ruger 380 were sky-rocketing in value...

.380 is a little hard to come by- but you can see a "NR" bidder won- so they probably don't have as much knowledge as we do here.

Was at the St.Charles Mo gun show last weekend. No .380 there. Saw one box for $65. Don't own a .380 but this is totaly nuts. Does Obamba have stock in ammo companies?? When in doubt, follow the money.

Makes me wish I would have bought all of Wal Mart out last week when I was there. I only have about 200 rounds of .380 now, I don't shot it much any more.

I get told a lot of crap.....who knows what is true and what is not. One thing I heard about the 380 was that the ammo companies didn't want to change the tooling over to make the 380 from the 9mm because they will loose 8 hours of production. I have no idea what the deal is.....but it sounds to me like the ammo companies would be all over this stuff even if it meant a little down time.

Might want to check your math again, the auction was for 100 rounds @ $74 + $8= $82 .82 a shell
