I was at the gun club earlier this morning.

While waiting in line for her to ring my sale, I decided to strike some light conversation with the lady behind the counter:

- "So...", I said: "Would it be legal for me to install a folding stock on an AK?"

- "Well.... You can for as long as you dont make it look too tactical"

- "What? Tactical?" Me chuckling: "What is this tactical thing you speak of?"

- "You are not supposed to turn it into an assault rifle"

    Well I think I understand, so if it has a folding stock so it can be fired in a close quarters combat situation it would be considered "tactical" whereas if it has a folding stock so it can be placed neatly in your sock drawer it would then be considered "practical"??
