We were busy yesterday so my wife left a big bowl of candy on the front porch with a note on it to take a couple of pieces. When I went to check on it about 9:00 pm it was still full.[V][V]

We have only had about 5 or 6 groups. Maybe 25 kids total.

About 40-50 kids here as well. We use to have lots more I guess lots of the kiddos in the neighborhood aren't kiddos anymore.

We don't get any way out here, it's almost 20 miles to town.

You guys have a PERFECT neighborhood for it. I never get any here. If I do....they will get apples and some "do it yourself" caramel kits. (I picked up these things and nobody has wanted to make them, so there they sit.)

None here either ? My next door neighbor lives about 3 miles down the road. I wonder why there not showing up ? I set out every year waiting and no one shows ?

I am running about 75 maybe. Had twice this many last year in half the time.

I guess times are too hard to go out and scare up free candy.

Maybe someone told them it was work...

Lost track around 200....we always get over run in our neighiborhood.
My wife and I were talking about the days when we used to walk our sons around. There were these older couples sitting on the porch handing out candy.....






Tonight we realized we have become them.....

In the old hood on the far NW side of Indy, I had many. I used to give beers to the moms & dad's that were with the kids. Good time. Been in scenic Lizton for 29 years and haven't had one. Country, few homes, 100 yds off the road, not a surprise. Still miss passing out the beer!

Had a bunch tonight. All little ones. Cute as hell. Lived in a bigger town for a while, and all we got were the entitled ones, of every age. I love living in a small town, and I love giving treats to the little ones.

Last year we went through 3 bags of candy. This year we used 5 bags. Turned out the lights no candy left.
