Enclosed Trailer value

Is there any online guide to values on used enclosed trailers?

I found a 2010 Atlas 26 foot enclosed trailer for $3,000. That seems to be about $1,000 less than even the best deals I have found so far.

Any thoughts?

UPDATE: Scam. Just got the email from the "soldier that is about to deploy."

    Obviously, a tandem axle trailer.

Just make sure each axle has brakes. [;)]

I plan on taking my creeper so I can thoroughly examine underneath.

Also, if it has a wood floor, as most do, you might want to seal the underside if you buy it.

I bought some cans of asphalt sealer and sprayed all the underside of the wood floor in my 26x7 trailer.

If you don't it'll rot out sooner or later.

It's quite a bit bigger than I need. The plan is to buy it and use it to move my father-in-law from Fort Bragg, CA to Topeka, KS. If I can have a buyer setup in Kansas, then I won't even have to tow it back. But at that price, I'm thinking that I could sell it for more than I paid and recoup some of my gas costs.

That is what I sold my 1 year old 24' enclosed one for last year. However it was damaged and I took an insurance settlement for it for the balance. Also find out if it is a 7'wide snowmobile trailer, 8' wide ( tight for car ) or 8.5' wide. Folks also measure the trailers differently.. some measure overall length from rear to tongue. Lengths are suppose to be box size.Good news is that a 26' will most likely have 5200# axles ( 6 lug )
