    Thread update 3:
westernMDhunter has ID'd the elusive hunter in question!
Good for him for either doing a good job of research... Or having a GREAT Memory.

Either way... "Joes Custom Guns" was the deer hunter who bagged this nice Albino Buck in Oct'2010
And yet, still hunts for elusive gun sales of 'Custom' 10/22 Rugers and Savage 220 rifles here on GunBroker...

Seeing as no one has taken a stab at identifying the GB Forum member who harvested this nice deer...
    I'll throw out another hint:
The 'old' user name of this forum member was "cyro110"...
And he is currently 'retired' but still works with guns as a hobby or past-time.
Not merely as a shooting enthusiast... Such as many of us do currently.
Yet... He hunts regularly despite his age and ailments due to same.

I found these picks only by chance yesterday evening and thought that the find was interesting in several ways...

Anyone want to take a stab at "WHO" harvested this deer with a bow in 2010...?

Hint: He is a GB forum member going back to Dec'03 and is currently retired...
He posts currently under a 'new' GB user name...

This particular deer was a notable deer in WV during the 2010 hunt season and has been on display several times with WVDNR blessings...

This has to be a TRUE ALBINO because DEER hair will not Bleach out
    White, it only turns Yellow.
If you do not beleive it then try it.

It is a true Albino... Pink nose, Pink eyes, White hooves... No colorization... Only White or Pink (non-pigmentation)
And recorded as such by the WV-DNR...

The same fellow had shot and killed a 12pt. 163 B&C green score piebald Nov'2011...
So the gene pool in the area certainly has some genetic issues in it...

    FWIW: Piebald LINK

A piebald is an animal, usually a horse, that has a spotting pattern of large white and black patches. The color of the horse's skin underneath its coat may vary between black (under the black patches of hair) and pink (under the white patches). The coloring is generally asymmetrical. Many animals also exhibit coloration of the irises of the eye that match the surrounding skin. This condition also occurs in white-tailed deer.

A genetic variation (defect) produces the piebald condition in white-tailed deer, not parasites or diseases. Piebald deer are colored white and brown similar to a pinto pony. Sometimes they appear almost entirely white. In addition to this coloration, many have some of the following observable conditions: bowing of the nose (Roman nose), short legs, arching spine (scoliosis), and short lower jaws. This genetic condition is rare with typically less than one percent of white-tailed deer being affected.

Isn't this the deer you harvested Joe? If you did I congratulate you on this one and the other big ones you have harvested. If not I have you mixed up with someone else.

Good Job... You pinned the tail on the 'Correct' Deer Hunter...

"Joes Custom Guns"... Once known as "cyro110"... Is in fact the elusive 'Deer Hunter" in question.
He's now hunting 'Custom' gun sales here on GunBroker...
