Question for guitar guys

I just bought an acoustic guitar with Roland GK-2 installed on the top, and I have no use for it. Pickup was installed under the strings with 2 screws, so now I have 2 small screw holes in the top, and the other end of the unit looks to be stuck on with some sort of sticky-back pad. Maybe something that comes with it? I have seen others installed with various kinds of less permanent materials, but this one is stuck really well.

Any ideas on how to get it off a nice cedar top without ruining it?
