Does anyone remember the indian blanket seat covers with the rifle scabard on the front. Were nice. Kept the gun in reach but hidden from view

Yep, sold a 73 4WD Dodge pickup one fall and next spring went looking for my JC Higgins 22LR to shoot some ground squirrels and realized it was in the scabbard in the seat cover.
Contacted the guy I solid it to and he had since sold the pickup to someone else, he never knew rifle was there, or so he said.

Either way, lesson learned.

Still, great seat covers.

need a recommendation choice for seat covers for toyo tacoma front for hauling my 60# shepard/heeler buddy with good toenails and sheds fine undercoat ....saddleman >>>> neoprene or max protect ballistic canvas....thanx

My 88 f-150 still has that seat cover an son is using it. Got it from the Jc Whitney catalog for like 25.00

Finding a truck with bench seats ain't an easy trick around here.

I had it in my 77 Ford F250 for years. But like JamesRK said finding a bench seat in a new truck nowadays is impossible.

They still make them, but I don't know if the scabbard is still an option.

Those seat covers were pretty durable too. Probably better than most available today.

I remember dad had one of those in his truck.
