The top ten companies based on Market Capitalization

Apple, Alphabet(Google), Microsoft, Amazon, Berkshire Hathaway, Exxon, Facebook, Johnson & Johnson, GE, Wells Fargo.

Microsoft made Bill Gates the richest man in America, 2 other billionaires from MS are Steve Ballmer #21 and Paul Allen # 26.

Ole man Buffet Berkshire Hathaway is #2 on the list of Billionaires.

Jeff Bezos #4 made his with Amazon.

Zuckerberg is #7 with Facebook also #55 from facebook

Google created 3 Billionaires Page and Brin are number 10 & 11 with Schmidt at 48th.

Apple created great wealth for Steve Jobs but that couldn't fend off Pancreatic cancer, Laureen Jobs is still worth billions at #23 on the list.

The old school guys are all gone, perhaps Buffet next.

Rockefeller was the wealthiest man in the world Standard oil essentially became Exxon.

Good Old Thomas Edison was a lot of GE.

The Johnson Brothers are not even a memory save the name.

Henry Wells and William Fargo are long gone.

Wonder what the list will look like in 2050?
Why don't we go to school and work on the weekends and take the week off!

For some reason, I thought Standard Oil became Chevron. Wonder why I was under that impression?
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

Confusing but I'd bet the Saudi's know for certain.

    From Google:
Standard Oil of New York - or Socony, merged with Vacuum - renamed Mobil, now part of ExxonMobil. Standard Oil of California - or Socal - renamed Chevron, became ChevronTexaco, but returned to Chevron. Standard Oil of Indiana - or Stanolind, renamed Amoco (American Oil Co.) - now part of BP.

Vacuum Oil building still stands in Rochester, NY on Exchange Street.
Vacuum invented the process oil is still refined by today, distilling crude in a pressure reduced atmosphere.
