    It's not even 4pm yet!
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

We haven't had any in 15 years. I don't expect that to change.

We had a 2.5 hr trick or treat in our downtown this evening...it was packed, I bet 80% came from outside the community.

The nice thing about living in the country off of a small county road is, no Trick or Treaters! [^]

Just in case, my wife and I buy two huge bags of our favorite Chocolate candy from Sam's every year and then we get to eat the whole thing!!!! [:D]

If you can't feel the music; it's only pink noise!

we usually don't have 25-30, this year I ran out of candy just little more than half hour in....worst part was there were few kids down on the driveway when I gave out my last candybar, hated to tell the little guys I ran out.[V]

Although always described as a cowboy, Roswellnative generally acts as a righter of wrongs or bodyguard of some sort, where he excels thanks to his resourcefulness and incredible gun prowesses.

41 groups who approached front door

Maybe 75 kids total all with parent(s)

All appeared under 10 years old

We had a pair of flickering black lights out front and a giant swath of spider web / Spanish moss style material that is fluorescent or photo reactive to the lights / big fake spider in middle along with a fake skeleton...

133 this year, a bit above average. A good crowd for a school night and so-so weather. Low 40's at sunset.

Been here for 35 years and never had one. Too far out of Indy for the urban kids (ages 4-27) to come for free stuff. Also, with the price of gas driving a deuce and a quarter is expensive. Any of you old folks remember that term?
It's too late for me, save yourself.

The best place I ever lived for Holloween was on FT Clayton in the Panma Canal Zone.

We would have 2-300 trick or treaters both American and Panamanian. It was a blast. We had a block party and everyone got smashed and gave out about 50#'s of candy. We would BBQ chicken and party all night long.

    Man I miss Panama.

Now I live in the country and you would have to have a sack of guts to come down my Driveway[;)]

    Funny kid moment...

We had a set of twin girls in faux tactical gear with bows and arrows (Katniss Everdeen fans / hunger games)

Maybe 5 or 6 years old...

Have not seen twin speak in a long time...

Still find it creepy in little girls - reminds me of the shining

Makaila was giving them each a one pound Hershey bar and was asked:

    Twin one "your pretty"

Twin two "you have pretty skin and eyes"

    Twin one "what are you???"

Out of the mouths of children.

We had about 100. Can't believe how big some of them are getting. One group of moms came through dressed up like sexy vampires. Not easy sucking in your gut when you've been eating Snickers bars all night!

My wife had knee operation yesterday so we left her favorite salad bowl full of candy with Happy Halloween note beside it. Left porch light on. Wife stayed with daughter(Bath and bed on same 1st floor) When I got home last night all candy gone but so was my wife's favorite salad bowl.

One of my local customers came by and I asked him if his kids had plans for Halloween. He said their neighborhood is overtaken by thousands of kids each year. They have a nice residential area and its become the "go to" spot for trick or treaters. He said you have to spend around $800 on candy or you run out. I'd just love to see that!!! I bet having all those kids in costumes is so much fun to see.

We live way out in the country and nobody trick or treats here. Before my kids were born they started having Trunk or Treat events at the churches. You could go to three or four different churches and let the kids trick or treat in the parking lots. People fix up their spots somewhat like a homecoming float is done, but with a Halloween theme.

The Locust Fork Baptist church takes it one step further and has a walk through Halloween "redemption" type show in the church. It has grown to a pretty large ordeal.
