Useful for holding lower cabinet door beside toilet in place while I attempt to replace the lower hinge screws using a mirror while hugging Oden.
Oden is the Nordic porcelain god.

What sort of oddball, expedient things have you used it for?
One of mine would be that three wraps of it can serve as a towing strap for a standard passenger car on level pavement.
My son wrecked his car, taking out the left front fender and door. Without going into details about Insurance claims, etc. [V], I put a plastic tarp over the blown out door window, attaching it with a good quality duct tape.
Now I have his vehicle ready for "round two" [:(], but I can't get rid of the residue from the tape.
Anyone have a solution that won't hurt the finish. I've tried a gas soaked rag, but it hasn't worked. Acetone is too harsh, residue remover that hospitals use for bandages won't touch it.
Any suggestions (without the usual * biting [^] )would be appreciated. [:)][:D][;)]
Developed during WW2, it was originally called "duck tape".

She wanted to play on the slip n slide with her sister. So a trash bag and some duct tape did the job.
