For those of you into cooking with cast iron you'll know how happy I am right now. I scored a Griswold no 12 with lid in fantastic shape today. Paid $20 for it. Got home and tried to look it up and it looks like the lid alone can go for $300. The pans seem to be listed for between $125 and $275 based on condition and this one is gorgeous. Wahoo!
I've been trying to build a collection of quality cast iron over the past couple of years at garage sales and now I'm up to 4 different sized Griswolds and 1 WagnerWare. The most I have paid was the $20 today for this big one.
I also scored a 4x Bushnell scope for a .22 rifle ($5) and some other trinkets. I even bought some artwork I liked. 2 framed paintings of a cheetah and a lion that were professionally framed.
