    If the past couple of years is any indication, I see more hurricanes running up the East Coast and colder temps hitting the deep South.

    After our first Arctic vortex, I would prefer that to a meandering hurricane any day. While we'll be fine in the South once NAPA starts stocking chains, I think regular hurricanes in New England and the Mid Atlantic are going to create major havoc.

    the way its been blowing today and the amount of moisture present it might as well be a hurricane. just saw on the news Missoula had an avalanche at the base of Mount Jumbo. 1 child is missing. lots of homes damaged. it has not stopped snowing since yesterday for me at least. drifting is such I can't even open my garage door to get the snow blower out. and we are supposed to get another major snow drop in 2 days. yummmmmm yummmm then the melting begins mid week.

    the child was found alive and is in St Pats hospital now. an elderly couple is still missing tho. search continues.

    UPDATE the elderly man was found shortly after the child. the elderly wife was found alive 3 hours later. all are at St Pats Hospital Misoula
