Does the NRA not believe its own rhetoric?

Some will die in hot pursuit
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain

It's sad so many Gun venues forbid guns, Gun shows rallys so forth.......

This might be a SS edict but the NRA blows hot and cold so often they really make it hard to support them.

I think the state/grass roots organizations are the way to go and that is what I am doing even though I am a life member.

The Secret Service is banning firearms at the site. The price of having a VP or POTUS attend your gathering, I guess.
Freedom and a submissive populace cannot co-exist.

The NRA should tell Pence / SS that if no guns are allowed, Pence can give his speech elsewhere.

    They won't. But they should...

Yeah, that's right. We finally have a Pres and Veep pro-gun enough to give a keynote speech at the NRA Convention, and you think we ought to tell them to kiss off. Yeah, THAT's the ticket.

Tell you what, why don't you stick two or three guns in your belt and sneak in to that speech? THAT'll show 'em, right?
    I may be a bit crazy - but I didn't drive myself.

SOP for any place the POTUS or VPOTUS speaks or appears.

Only persons with weapons will be Secret Service, Feds and the locals they have vetted.

No outside person will be carrying in the same area as these two are at.

NRA has nothing to do with this. This is Federal jurisdiction.

The VP and POTUS are specific high profile targets which draw an extraordinary level of animosity and dedication by would be assassins not normally associated with the exposure of school children. Apples and oranges.

In many cases the places where events are held are under the rules of the Insurers and or owners of the facility.

But of course it is always the NRA's fault.

    Hang together- or hang seperately.
Firearm owners make me go WTH often.

NRA is run by ELECTION. VOTE to change no?
Bet about as many vote for the board as did here in NJ
34% voted-66% did not. NOW we have the commie POS murphy.
