after my recent adventures at the MHP for my concealed carry permit renewal i decided to use their mail-in application. instructions stated that i need to send in a set of finger prints from the county sheriffs office. called the sheriffs office to determine the process of being finger printed. nice lady gave me the time, cost and place and then said "you will have to bring your own card". so i ask "where do i get a card". and she answered "i dont know". I'm really getting tired of beating my head against this wall. i did look on line and you can buy the FBI fingerprint card, another step in the process.

And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Unless of course they have gone to all electronic finger prints (not likely).

I don't understand why there can't be some standardization in the CCW world. [:(]
Constitutional Carry. Period.
The communists of Mississippi need to be tarred and feathered.
Anyone that doesn't have their head buried in sand, should know, that the now common practice of requiring a permit to carry, all started by the politicians (demonrats) that didn't want people of color to have the ability to carry a firearm.
we my not have constitutional carry, but as a "shall issue" state, initial application and renewal are the same.
fill out what amounts to a 4473, instant check, print and picture and you are out the door with the permit for (i think) $17 last renewal good for 5 yrs
Any local jail should have reams of FBI cards. Any felony arrest has to have a FBI fingerprint card submitted.
Unless of course they have gone to all electronic finger prints (not likely).
I live in a dirt poor broke-assed crap hole Ohio County where the Sheriff's building was built over 100 years ago. It is falling down wore out and we the voters, me included, refuse to fund a new one. Even they have the digital finger print gizmo magic machine in their office.
Who uses paper for anything today except toilet paper and speeding tickets?
