I never have a camera handy when I shoot the Ruger Blackhawk 30 carbine I believe it beats the 500 in muzzle flash

    Love the battleship shot! LOL

and the young lady firing whatever that thing is....well....it took me a second to see that she was shooting anything at all actually.

and I've heard the Blackhawks have quite the *THUMP mr Savage.

It was March 1974... And I was seen in the produce section near the vegetables.

Some 'dude named Ray caught my act and put it to music.
He got rich and I got burnt... Literally. [B)]

Oh wait, you said 'FLASH'... My bad.

There was this time not long after my infamous streak... I bought me a light canvas rain coat... And [:D]

My cell phone has a video/camera option...so I video friends shooting my guns.

The video option has the ability to pause and take a snapshot of the paused image.

    VOILA!!!! best flash shots ever!

Im glad I found the snapshot feature accidentally.

back in the early 1990's when I started shooting recreationally, there were no digital cameras and no cell phones

My greatest regret was not having any keepsakes for the photo album, from those glory days when I met the fantastic people that introduced me to the activity that would become a such a big part of my life.

A relative used to have a small cannon. Kind of like a swivel gun for an old wood and sails naval ship. Of modern materials, not an antique. He'd load it up with a powder charge only on July 4th and New Year's. Great show, huge boom and a big old splash of fire.

    Good Stuff.

I'll have to get out my Automag .30 Carb and see if I can get a flash picture. The last time I shot it I didn't have a camera and it was spittin some pretty good fire.

I should try to get some pics of my fun toys, I have a couple that people cross the range just to see what just went off:

    10" 223 and 7mm Merrill
    14" 22-250, 7mm TCU and 45-70
    16" 22-250 and 300WSM

But one of the best for flash was Laredo Lefty's 10" Dominator in 308

Bryant, I forgot all about my Dominator. I have never shot it in low light. I will have to remember to do that. Its also a bit painful. I am usually good for about 10 rds before I need a break.

You forget about the time we shot it after the night 3-Gun match at West End, how about selling that thing to me, you never use it enough

Who doesn't absolutely LOVE the good old 1919!!! An amazing classic!

I've dabbled with the idea of owning a Semi Auto version for pure nostalgic value. That gun should speak to the old school shooter in all of us!
