    Navy combat aircrews go through SERE school. I did mine in Warner Springs, California. It's teaches you how to Survive, evade, escape, and resist probing. They also teach what legally you can and can't say. That's where I was waterboarded as part of the training.

    Those sailors probably got a thirty minute film on the Korean War inspired Code of Conduct. Not many blackshoe guys consider being captured so they don't really train for it.
    As can be seen, we're paying the price.
    That lousy coxswain should get a BCD.

    The coxswain and many of the sailors should get a dishonorable discharge not a BCD.

    I just can't see a failure to obey a lawful order receiving the same extreme punishment as what Bergdahl can expect if convicted of desertion.

    This is exactly the reason there is such a thing as a Bad Conduct Discharge.

    Besides, what good sailor HASN'T disobeyed a lawful order?[;)]

    These DA's surrendered their 50' Gun Boats (bristling with .50 cal M2's) to a bunch of glorified "Bass boats," w/ a few guys armed w/AK's." You have got to be F'n Kidding me. (And) As others have stated, did NO One, know how to utilize a tow rope???? Un-freakin' believable. Down right embarrassing.

    Probably a lot of College Degrees on those 2 boats, and nobody who knew how to use the degree thingy on the eefin Compass.
