What Beer to drink while Fishing today? [:D]
Comments
I have a strong preference for Warstiener.
A hot day demands a lighter brew, perhaps even as light as Kokanee.
A cool day will require a heavier beer such as an amber ale.
A cold day will require a high test IPA, or if you are so inclined a porter of some type.
You are correct in asking this question, as beer selection is as important as bait.
OTOH, is you are a catch and release fisherman, get yourself some Bud Light, Miller Light, or Coors Light. You aren't really fishing, so why should drink real beer?

New Glarus(spotted cow) is my favorite, unfortunately you can only get it in Wisconsin.

Ricci, we were discussing beer, not carbonated yellow snow melt.
A minor modification...

Too funny.
My thoughts exactly.
Coors Light??
Might as well be drinking stream water.
Hey, if you like it though, who am I to say otherwise?
On a hot day I would stick to the lower Alcohol content.
Too much sun and an early beer buzz gives me a headache.
If you use a boat or float tube; go with Old Milwaukee. That way, if your beer falls in the water; you won't notice any difference in the taste.
Dry land fishing requires a beer that gets better as it warms up & fills with bugs.
Sheaf Stout just happens to be that beer.
Budweiser , Heinekens , Foster...in that order.
There isn't any really bad beer (except Iron City) it is just that some are better than others[:)]
