Adding a BSA 4x32 scope with Weaver see thru mount

I purchased both for my Ruger 10/22. It should be fun to put them on. Has anyone had experience with the BSA 4x32 and Weaver mounts. Any suggestions or tips. My intention is to use the scope for target practice and small game hunting. Thanks for the feedback.( Weaver sizes are 1"). My competitive rifles are used for the more complex and long range shooting, but sometimes its fun to go to Walmart and get back to basics. Anyone else ever do this? (not to a Krieghoff[:D])

I've used some BSA scopes and reddots and haven't had one fail which is more than I can say for some high dollar brands. I personally don't care for the see under mounts as they put the scope too high for a proper cheek weld.

I have a BSA catseye on my .300 win mag and it's done just fine.
