I saw the reference to this gun in an earlier post.
Since I'm always looking for the unusual, whether I'd ever
use it or not,I just got wind of one in 85% condition
for $100.Is it worth it?I'll be in it's area tomorrow.

Thanks,
BW

I've seen them sell for $95-140 depending on condition.
If you like it, offer $75 and see what happens.

I don't know the current value Bobby, but I remember them as really cheaply built.

i have the 410,20ga and 12 ga.the 410 and the 20 bring a premium over the 12.i would say if it aint too bad it is woth the $100.try and talk him down a little.the 20 and 410 are the hardest too find if you want all 3.i was told they were made in 16ga but then i was told they werent so i am still trying too find out for sure.these are not masterpieces by any sense of the word but they are unusal and kinda neat.was the first gun i ever hunted with so i thought i would collect them.hope this helps don

The receiver is die cast "Zamak" which is a zinc based alloy used on several "cheap" guns of this era.
Unless the particular model in question has some sentimental value to you such is it was the first shotgun you ever had or hunted with as a boy- let it lie unless it is REAL cheap ($20 or so is probably high in my view). Never buy old junk- it just turns into even older junk.
