Ruger Convertible question

Trying to quell an argument from the range.

Can a new model Blackhawk 9mm convertible cylinder fit and be used in a new model Blackhawk nonconvertible .357? The gun expert in the discussion says YES. What is the correct answer?

How easy is it to switch the cylinders out between calibers on the Blackhawk convertible? I'm talking about just taking out one cylinder it was supplied with and putting in the other it came with (like from .357 to 9mm), not switching to completely different calibers (like from .357 to .45 Colt), which would require a gunsmith.

you should be able to do it in about 30 seconds or less if you are well coordinated.

just pull the pin and swap them,,I'll split the difference of the first two posters and say 45 seconds

Switching is very easy. I had a big problem with the 9MM cylinder being very fussy about the ammunition it would chamber.
