Snub nose Enfields

I have seen several of these WW2 pistols with 2" barrels for sale at higher prices. Most of them claimed to be factory original. Anybody out there know for sure.

    In some of the old American Rifleman magazines I have collected (50's and 60's) there are a lot of ads with these being offered. All the ones I have seen there are advertised as being "converted to the shorter barrell."

    nrvoutdoors.com has a very good article on enfield revolvers, including the aftermarket snubbies. Why, son, these was special made for tankers, doncha know, and they are worth MUCH MUCH more than a standard Enfield. But I like you, son, and I can let you have a great deal on one of these scarce tanker Enfield revolvers. Say, I also happen to have this bridge.....
