CQB= close quarters battle , an unrelated term
The CQB aspect was already answered, below is a more detailed outline of Point Shooting, and they're not unrelated (see videos)

And, watch these three videos in order, in a nut shell, that's point shooting ...

As an aside, and I'll take flack for this, no problem, but if you think for a second that all of your fancy dancy, high dollar, good time rock n' roller sights, i.e. MeproLight, Trijicon, HiViz or TruGlo are going to do you any good when you're forced to draw in self defense you're just kidding yourself. Sure, it's cool to keep up with the Jones' and have the brightest sights on the block, and they'll be easier to find if one ever falls off at night, short of that, and for defensive purposes, they're a gimmick.

Where did you ever hear that Glocks were built for CQB point shooting?
And as for night sights not being of value, have you ever had to actually point a gun at someone in near darkness? I have, and night sights work real well to know where you muzzle is REALLY pointing.
