I looked on the auction side without luck so I figured you real world experts would have a good idea on the value.
The rifle is a Remington 700 with XX barrel code (December 1973) in .243 Winchester. It has the hinged floor plate and a period correct Bushnell Scopechief 3X9 scope. the rear sight with screws is in the original scope box. The original Remington hang tag is also there.
The rifle has had 3 rounds through it since new. It has sat for over 30 years in a safe, for all intents and purposes it is NEW.
What would a top dollar value be for such a rifle...... Your wisdom is appreciated!

Is this a BDL version? I am thinking, that one that looks NEW, and of that age, we are lookiing at around $600.00-700.00. Pictures would be real nice. I haven't had a good drool in a while....[:D][:D]
