    Customer has a "J.P.SAUER & SOHN" 12 ga sxs. Single trigger. Barrel selector is in the trigger guard. Cocking indicator on each side of the reciever. Made in Germany. Nitro proved barrel. Serial number 71053. When was this gun made?? Item number 158339559.Thanks for your help.

    could you folks help me date the following guns?

    1. S&W mod 36 ser # 270934
    2. S&W mod 29-3 ser# AFT8227
    3. S&W mod 19-4 ser# 49K3431

    Also is there anyway I can date a
    Rem 1100 with a non-matching barrel
    ser # N622953K? (The brl is parkerized,
    the receiver is not)

    I checked the sticky but couldn't find what I needed. I have a Smith and Wesson M36 serial number: ANF742
    and a Beretta M21a in .22LR serial number DAA042842
    what would be the date of manufacture on these?

    The Winchester Model 1893 was a slide-action shotgun, with a total production of just over 34,000.

    If you are asking about a Model 94, serial number 2775502 was manufactured in the latter half of the year 1964.

    Does the. Latter 1964 exclude it being the ore sought after , hence more valuable Winchester? I gave $100.00 for it.
    It was bought at a auction for an estate. Poor departed man wrote his name, address and city and taped. Glued it under the steel but plate on rifle.

    Yes, it does exclude it from the "collectable" group of pre-1964 Model 94 Winchesters. That stated, you got it for a great price, and will more than double your money if you sell it.
