I HAVE A SAM HOLT ARMS 10 GA DOUBLE, STEEL BARRELS, 2 7/8 CHAMBER, EXTERNAL HAMMERS. THE ONLY THING THAT I KNOW FOR SURE ABOUT IT IS THAT IT WILL KICK YOU INTO NEXT WEEK !!! I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE ANY INFORMATION !!! GUN WAS LEFT TO ME BY MY FATHER.

    First off please don't write in all caps as it looks as if your are yelling, otherwise I believe that these were Belgian made firearms that would try to mimic an authentic firearms manufacturer using similar sounding names hoping to confuse potential buyers and used a poor grade of steel, do not fire the weapon, from what I understand about these they are mantle pieces.

    Yep... Belgian knock-off, and it was imported into the U.S.A. between 1890 - 1914.

    Sam Holt's were probably made in the same cottage as my Symthe & Winston revolver[:D][;)]
