Model 870 Stock Question

I have an 870 Wingmaster 16 gauge that I want to buy a pistol grip for. I have a spare barrel that has been cut own to 18 1/2" and want the pistol grip to make it an under the bed gun. Will the pistol grip kit for an 870 12 gauge fit? These are all I can find...none that say for 16 Ga.

    Unfortunately all of the pistol grips that I have come across are designated 12 gauge so it would seem not, you could always find one through a company and what their return policy is and then try it without damaging it I suppose.

    If your receiver is pre 77, yes it will fit, they were all the same receivers for the 12, 16, and 20ga. Forend and if it's post 77, I'm not sure about.

    Personally since you seem to be using this shotgun for defense purposes I would go with a 12 gauge instead, imo.
