Marlin Gallery Rifle

I saw that there were some posts about Winchester gallery guns, but haven't seen anything about Marlins. I have a Marlin gallery gun that is in what seems to be very good shape. I wrote to Marlin for help identifying it and they sent me a photocopy from what looks like page 632 of the book Marlin Firearms, A History of the Guns and the Company that Made Them by Lt. Col. William S. Brophy. It said there were only 500 made at the time but didn't list a year they were made. It's basically a Model 100 with a different tube assembly and the back of the bolt looks different. Marlin also told me they would have no idea of the value of the rifle. Does anyone know what year they were made, and what one of these in good to great condition would be worth?
