Another of my inherited collection I am seeking data / value information for. Many thanks in advance!

Winchester 29inch octagon barrel in caliber 38-55. Flip up sight. Set trigger. Etching on top three side of the barrel... I have never seen such. Quite beautiful.

What were the years of production for the Winchester 94 in 38-55? Thanks Steve

I'm also curious about the newer production as well. Any info regarding the #'s of 38-55 and 25-25 Trails End Hunter made?

I have no idea how many were made by the U.S. Repeating Arms Co. (1981 - 2006), but I do know that they are not exactly the same as the original WINCHESTER made Model 1894s in 38-55. Specifically, the modern manufactured U.S.R.A.Co. 38-55 chambered Model 94s use a .375 diameter bullet, whereas the original Winchester Repeating Arms Co. (W.R.A.Co.) 38-55 chambered guns used a nominal .379 diameter bullet. You can not accurately shoot modern 38-55 ammo in the vast majority of the original (old) guns.
