What's a fair price for an USGI M14 op rod that is in like new condition with original finish? I have the chance to buy it. I've got first dibs on which ever of the two I want. The other is already spoken for as well. I can pick from a Winchester or TRW rod.

What you should worry about is the quality of the receiver you plan to install it on. NO receiver is made to USGI milspec, & some have the op rod channel so far from milspec that the op rod tab will not stay in the channel when the rifle is fired.

You want the tab to be at least 0.095" wide.

Thanks for the additional ino. I'm getting it tomorrow. I want a USGI one. LRB has a forged one piece on the auction side with a BIN for $175
