I have a Burris scope base that is marked "SW" on the bottom. I'm assuming that it is for a S&W and fits the D&T'd K-N frames but am not sure. Anyone know? Thanks.

    Todd,

Does it have 3 holes in it?

No holes Tim, they all have screws in them[}:)]Yes, there are 3 holes in the base, that's what made me think they are for the classics. There is also one screw right in front of the rear ring that looks odd. When the screw is tightened all of the way the head hits the base and there are no threads out the bottom.

Sir, I believe the screw in front of the rear ring is a stop screw that prevents the ring from moving under the effects of recoil.
