My brother was given a projectile from the viet -nam war. The guy that gave it to him had it in his office for 28 years. Said he got it from his brother in law who was in the navy.We think that this thing may still be alive how would you know. It weighs 60lb's made of brass has a green pointed plastic tip with nunbers like a safe dial on it and about 24 inchs tall. Any one know what he has and what would be the best way to check to make sure it is safe.Looks to be like 155 mm.

After a few phone calls, the Ft. McNair bomb squad was at my house. It was a live round.
Hit it on the nose with a sledge hammer and see what happens.
