Does anyone make a pistol that shoots the 17 HMR or are there only revolvers?

Thats the only one I know of, but there really aren't any 22 mag semi auto pistols on the market either...

They are also going to start production of a 17HMR and .22WMR Conversion Kit For 1911 Pistols.

The .17 High Standard/Aguila round is different from the .17M2. High Standard stared early but ended up latee and missed the boat in my opinion. You don't hear much about the High Standard .17 anymore
This article shows the difference.

High Standard did experimant with a .17 in the late 1940's or early 1950's but that project never went anywhere. It was a different cartridge from the present .17 High Standard

Note that the .17 High Standard case length is the same as the .22 LR and the .17M2 has the longer case length of the Stinger cartridge.
