I recently bought a Savage 110E in 30-06 from a buddy. The rifle is in great shape except the safety was rusted shut which is a common thing for these guns I am told.
So I ordered a replacement safety and got it installed and all seems to be ok except for the trigger pull adjusting spring. It does not want to stay put. Every time I dry fire the pin slips from the top to the bottom of the little pin that is holding it in its place. Any ideas to fix this issue would be much appreciated. Thanks.
