What would be the approximate value of an Oliver Winchester Comm. with the original box of shells, purchased at the same time. Rifle is unfired in the original styrofoam box with sleeve and papers. Cal. 38-55. Sleeve has suffered some handling deterioration due to "tire kickers" who just have to examine it. I cannot find one in the auctions and would like to know what to ask for it. What is the serial number range and wood configuration.[:)][:)]
All of them were made in the year 1980 and will be serial numbered 1 -19,999. All of them were made with deluxe checkered/carved walnut stocks. I suggest you take a look at the links Spider posted.
